The screenshots below speak for themselves, there is no way the appearance of Bennison’s new site could be just a coincidence, the site has been clearly set up to resemble the official government portal right down to the smallest detail. The layout, choice of text colour and even the footer have all been carefully chosen to give it an identical look and feel to that of the official site. There can only be one possible reason for doing this, and that would be to mislead the public into thinking they are on the official UK government site, or that this site is, somehow, affiliated with it.
The choice of domain name is of equal significance, calling it “National Bailiff Advice” makes it sound just like “National Debtline”, and gives the impression that you are dealing with an official resource. The official government site is “gov.uk”, not .co.uk, which is the most common suffix for UK domains, and Bennison has also chosen to use just .uk as the suffix for his domain name. It’s very hard to believe all this is purely coincidental.
As is always the case with Bennison, his vanity lets him down. If you scroll down a little, you will find his photo featured on the home page, not something you would find on any official site, nor is the appearance of the site owner of any relevance to the information provided, but we are dealing with a man with a big ego here who just couldn’t resist to show off his fake tan (or, since he claims to have decamped to the Philippines, maybe it is now a real tan).
For those unfamiliar with Jason Bennison, his advice and the string of websites he runs, if you click this box, you will be taken to a site where you will find all the background info you will ever need.
